Just bought a R50 Mini Cooper for the summer of corona!
Did a ton of basic maintenance to it. Thermostat housing, coolant tank, basic tune up and oil change, PS pump, etc
However, I can not open my driver door from inside, I have to ROLL DOWN THE WINDOWS, stick my hand outside and use outside door handle to open door. I ordered Bowden cables for this issue, apparently it's common?
Other issue is passenger door will not open from the outside, I have to open it from the inside.
After a ton of searching and googling , I can not figure out what part is needed for this. Not sure if it's another cable or the handle itself or the actuator or what.
Anyone experience this before?
Thank you for any advice, glad to be a part of this!
I've owned a ton of BMW's in the past, actually I've only had BMWs in the past; first time mini owner though!
So I believe to get the inside doors to open it's this bowden cable , and for the door handle not opening problem, I believe it's this handle that has the short cable attached to it. Took me hours and hours of searching other people having this problem. Hope this helps!
