R50/53 This new bushing doesn’t look right

This new bushing doesn’t look right

The short version: I ordered Delphi bushings for the front suspension repairs because they had good reviews and Moog didn’t offer any.

But this doesn’t look right.

I’ve never seen new bushings to compare this to, but isn’t this bushing defective?

Looks like the rubber vulcanization to the carrier alloy is failing. Personally I would request a replacement, as that isn't up to personal manufacturing standards. I wouldn't install it on my own vehicle, particularly given the hassle to change the RCABs out.
