100k maintenance thread

Hello I have a 2004 Mini Cooper S, this is a fun car to drive I bought it at 70k miles and right now I have just reached 100k miles. I would like to see if I can get some help from y’all in regards to what things I should get checked to keep my car in running order, if possible please keep things simple because I am a girl and yes I do not know much about cars, other than changing the oil, giving it water and putting brake fluid in it

this is my car, I like it a lot. Also I should probably mention I crashed the front end a while back, the only thing that was really affected was the radiator but I got that fixed already

I like the white rims and accents. Nice looking car.
I like seeing a chic driving a stick !
welcome btw ! use the search button , theres ALOT of good posts over the years about maintenance and what to check ,inspect and replace at what mile and how to do it.
A visual inspection can go along way, just go take a looooong look at your car , pop the hood and check it too. Look for oil leaks , keep an eye on the fluid levels and keep up on routine maintenance. These cars kinda have a bad rep I found for reliability but any car is only as dependable as its owner. I find these car, if looked after well run a hood, long life.
at your mileage and just acquiring the car. To be safe , I'd do a supercharger fluid change and change out all the other fluids like oil, brake fluid , coolant ect...

+1 on the supercharger oil change. It's important at this stage in your car's history, however, it's not something that can be done with it on the car. It really needs to be in front end service mode to do it properly. That essentially means the entire front of the car must be removed, not something you'll want to try if you don't have mechanical experience. The dealer will rake you over the coals to do this -- something like $1,500, sad to say. Look for a MINI club in your area. It's possible you can find help that way.
