Help Shorted visor 2006 r50

Hey folks new here. looked all over the web I had a short 2 wires touch in my driver visor and now no map/reading lights and no glove box lights all other lighting, gauges etc work. Lights worked just this morning so I know it’s not lamps. The orange little lights on the map light cluster work but not the lights. Checked every single fuse none blown. Any ideas? Thanks for your time

Just to be sure, replace fuse F14 in the interior footwell panel. That fuse is for interior lighting. If that does not work, see if you're getting 12V across F14 with the fuse removed.

thanks for your help. Checked again this am and it was still messed up. I disconnected the negative on battery. I fully repaired the visor and installed everything back 100%. Left car offline for about a hour and then reconnected it and forgot all about it.. I was cleaning up and went and put a pen in the little pen holder in the glove box and closed it while I was talking to my wife. I thought after I walked away holy cow was that light On?. Went back and lo and behold it was working. Clicked on thereaders and boom working. I’m stoked. Thank you for responding Jeff, it is very appreciated. I was so upset. Little thing has been a great car and slowly putting her back to good with scrapyard finds. I paid $700 for her and she’s been a good girl. Got 180 on the clock plan to run her to the end. Cheers.
