1St Oil Service-International MINI Milwaukee
Had my 1st oil service Friday, December 17, 2004, at International MINI in Milwaukee. Our Mileage counter was @ 25 miles and the miles on our MINI were 13,700.
Tim Timmerman, the service manager, was very nice. He explained the whole process and how long it would take to complete the service. About an hour and a half. I had the oil service, Recall software update, auto unlock at ignition off programmed, and new wiper blades.
The service took one hour and 15 minutes. All the service requests were completed plus changing the micro filter. Our MINI was freshly washed and ready to go.
During our wait at International MINI, we had a chance to talk with Anthony Goodall who helped us purchase our MINI last March. A very entertaining gentleman! We also had about 15 people ask us if we wanted coffee, soda, a juice box for our daughter. A Very, Very Pleasant visit!!!
Just thought I would share our experience with you all. If anyone in Wisconsin is thinking about purchasing a MINI, I would highly recommend International MINI and Anthony Goodall.
It just started snowing...Got to go motoring!!!!!!!!!

lol, are they taking appointments in this decade? 
Tough to get an appointments for service in the tri-state area these days...from what you described I think I might just stop by my MINI dealer and bum around. Maybe if I drink enough of their soda, juice, and coffee they'll squeeze my 10k checkup in there, lol.

Glad to hear you had a good experience. Usually the 1st oil change comes up at around 10k. How many months have you had the car before the oil change.
They changed mine at 8,000 miles because one year had elapsed.
