R50/53 Clutch pedal switch

Clutch pedal switch
The clutch pedal switch switch only activates and allows me to crank the car about 2” from the floor
. When pressed to the floor it will not allow the starter to engage. I have changed switches with no change In the position of where it engages. I do believe the clutch Master cylinder has been changed as it appears new and a but was missing off of one of the mounting bolts. The only other symptom I have is the cruise does not work. Light comes on as if it is ready to work but you cannot set speed, not sure if it is related to the clutch issue but felt it might be connected. Anyone else experiencing similar issues or have a fix?

Might be loose or not in the right position or not mounted correctly?
