Yellow light

I finally started my R53 today after about a years time of taking it apart and putting it back together. It runs really nice. Smells nasty though, and I’m sure it’s the cerakoted headers heating up for the first time. It started ruff, but that was my fault. I forgot to plug the electronic throttle control. Plugged it in and cleared the codes before restarting, but the yellow light won’t go away.
I changed the exhaust, header back, Detroit tuned bypass valve, air ddmworks air box, plugs, 15% SC pulley, 2% OD pulley. Could no brake pad wear sensors cause this? I did install a Wilwood brake kit, and there are no wear sensors

Not having a sensor will cause the light to come on.

Correct, if you're not using the sensors, cut them and connect the wires together

Take the old sensor and cut the wires about 2 inches or so out, strip both ends and twist the wires together. Wrap in e tape. Plug it in and turn the key to the first click till the light goes off. Your good to go!

My bulb eventually burned out, so there's that option too.
