Bought a dead R53 convertible S 6speed
I bought a dead 2006 Mini Cooper S convertible that is completely dead. I charged the battery and still nothing. Radio works, and interior lights come on. Car does nothing else. Turn the key all the way forward and dash lights turn on for a few seconds and then nothing.
I'm not getting power to half the interior fuse box. Any ideas???

You could get a wiring diagram & voltmeter, then trace the wiring to find the fault. Otherwise, check/clean every connection & ground you can find, although that is a random way of troubleshooting.
A friend couldn't figure out his no-start, which ended up being the fuse box itself. He finally had a shop diagnose it after spending many hours going in circles.

Congrats
I've seen two things cause issues like this
The ignition switch
https://www.waymotorworks.com/igniti...0-r52-r53.html
and the fuse box itself
https://www.waymotorworks.com/used-r52-fuse-box.html
but keep in mind there is no way for us to know as you could have a bad wire or water in a connector somewhere else.
