Front Radiator Support Interchangeability

Hello all, I have a research question that's left me stumped. I want to replace the radiator support on my 2005 MCS. Brand new these run around $300 however some light searching comes up with units under $100. Inputting my make and model into Rockauto yields a single choice with a part number. Inputting that number shows examples for less money on eBay however using the websites built in interchange system they say they are not compatible with the S. Do R50/52/53s share the same core support or are there noticeable differences? I can't seem to get a solid answer anywhere and would like to save some money if possible.

Thanks

The R50 and R53 core supports are different as the air intake position is different. So you need to make sure to get the correct one

That's a great point, I didn't think about that. Its much easier to see which ones are Non-S.
