JCW brakes fitment

Hey guys, there's probably already an answer out there but I'm pretty bad at surfing the web and all. I have an R53 with the r56 brake upgrade and I'm looking at a set of 16" rims with ET40 as offset. The lady measured the inner diameter of the rim to be 15 1/2 inches. I think they would be a perfect fit since the brake rotors are 294mm (11 or so inches) and the actual brake caliper isn't going to make it 15 inches i think... Could anyone confirm with me that they fit or that they don't fit? Thank you

I think it may vary from style to another even if they are the same size, i.e., all 16" rims are not the same. I know that when I bought (but have not yet installed) the R56 kit I determined that my 16" R84 'bridge spokes' would fit.

I guess I'll have to test fit them? They're 16x6.5..
