R50/53 Turn signal light
Turn signal light
Can anyone tell me what the small bulb in the turn signal does. I think it is a park light but I can’t get it to come on. Is it supposed to come on with the bumper mounted side market light. I picture with the bulbs on would be a big help
Not sure which bulb you are talking about; there are 3 bulbs, bottom single element bulb is the tail light, middle double element bulb is the brake/ turn signal, top single element bulb is for fog light (not used on U.S. models)
I think he is talking about the front. There is a big bulb for turn signal, then a small bulb for parking lights. They should turn on with parking lights. Maybe blown, do you have a good one to swap?
The amber turn signal works and there are two more light bulb that have to be plugged in. One is for the side marker light that should come on whenever any lights are turned on and the park light inside the turn signal housing
Do your other parking lights work (corner lights at the wheel arches, and tail lights)? Each parking light is connected directly to the body control module in the passenger footwell.
