Custom hood scoop fins

Hi Everyone,
Just want to see your reaction on this. A handful of people at Car and Coffee saw it likes it. Some suggested that I should sell the 3D CAD file for download. It's not going to make me a millionary but it's good to see people like the idea. The fin is my personal project for aesthetic only. It had a character to the car a little. The fins have unique features that snap-fit to O.E.M. scoop. Is it worth selling them for download?

I wouldn't get them. Maybe if they had an airfoil cross-section instead of being blunt on the front, but still probably not.

I dig your stripes, though!

If you could have found a way to give them a functional purpose, I'd naturally be interested in them. Like maybe if you had holes that funneled in air then tunneled the air toward the passenger side in an effort to reach that far side of the intercooler that seems to be ever so slightly... off center from the hood scoop, that would be legit. However, the amount of work it would take to prove that it actually does function that way probably isn't worth it. And if you don't do the work to prove it functions that way then you have to sell it for cheap on the basis that redirecting the air with these inserts is theoretical. It looks different maybe like fangs or something.. All that matters is that you like it.
