Not for nothing, but I just ran across an MC40 for sale in Elko, NV on cargurus.com. It's not entirely correct (has hood stripes and no decals but the correct interior and carbon fiber dash) but it's definitely an MC40 and it appears the dealer doesn't know what he has because it's not listed as an MC40. They're asking $5,755 if anyone's interested. No idea what number/1000 it is.

 

I thought your mini was an MC40 (because I’m new), and I’m impressed by this clutch post. Good eye.
