I had an airbag code in my car....I tried clearing it by disconnecting the battery.....doesn't work that way.....I ended up buying the little scanner from ECS Tuning....now my air bag lights are out....there was also an air bag code in the dash cluster on my car as well.....probably because I turned the key on while I had the car all apart chasing all of my electrical issues
