So I recently had my r53 die on me. I asked a kind looking gentlemen if he could assist me with a jump. He said no problem and pulled his car around. I gave him his side of the cables and proceeded to put mine on. I put them on my car the proper way but he crossed them on his. The terminals on my car started to smoke and when I finnaly did put them on the right way and got the car to start, I had no power steering. My question is do you think the whole motor is bad or somthing as simple as a fuse? Thanks.

Only way to know is check the fuses.
