The Kustomizer

I know that SOMEWHERE I have seen a picture of 2 minis that were welded together back to back and had a hot tub in the middle....... and NOW I know where it came from....

Watch The Kustomizer Monday night at 9pm on the Discovery Channel!

Did they get an '07 test mule?

The show just started airing a little while ago. I cringed, even before they showed the car. The guy said that as a leftover from building two MINI limos, they had the front ends of two MINIs - "one turbocharged, one regular."

Come on- if you're on national television, get the facts regarding the vehicles' under-bonnet equipment straight!

Anyone suppose we could get get that uber-paintmeister tractor-trailer rig to pay a house call to Donna to fix Ariel?

I giggled at that line too, coming from a "car expert"...Big Daddy is a lot of fun, but I think more smoke then fire.

I fell asleep watcing it. They spent to much time showing the guys yelling at each other. When I woke up it was all done.

I fast forwarded through all the yelling and "20 minutes for the signal to reach your brain" crap. God bless Tivo.

The cars themselves were pretty cool IMHO. The paint on the car with 2 front ends was a little much though.

This side was good, the other side was goofy.

The show was a bit of a dissapointment to me. There really wasn't much information or background about the actual work of putting the two front ends together.

The paint job was well done, but throwing all those different graphic styles together on the same project didn't work for me.

It was fun watching the final product drive around and go sideways.

Get a Tivo. If you knew what you were missing you'd have one already.
