Some days I get an inexplicable breeze of warm air through the small round vents on the dashboard (the ones that don't close) even though I haven't activated the heat. Putting on the auto climate control makes it stop.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I was driving the other day with the AC off and windows closed and noticed the same thing.

I'd look at the temp setting on the Auto Climate before turning it off. If it is a higher temp, lower it, then turn it off again. The air will be cooler. Another option is to manually direct the air towards your feet then turn off the Auto Climate.

Basically the system has memory of it's last setting before you turned it off. It's just that the fan is not on. Air moving though the air inlets is flowing through the system to give you that hot air you feel.

Thanks for the explanation, letsmotor!

I noticed the breeze coming from my vents any time I am moving also. If the problem is the temp, you can adjust the temp as normal, if you don't want the airflow at all, press the button that makes the air re-circulate inside the car instead of picking up outside air.
