R53 Oil cooler question

Hey guys. First time Mini owner here. I picked up an 05 Mini S for my son and I to work on. We’ve been overhauling just about everything (bushings, breaks, ALL of the oil leaks). I can’t find any place to purchase replacement hoses for the oil cooler lines. Ours are in pretty bad shape and actually have a small bubble on one where it connects to the oil cooler. Can you guys give the name of the hose I should be searching for? They seem pretty simple to replace.

Welcome to the mini world. Since they're owned by BMW, you can use realoem.com for all of your parts diagrams needs. It's a wonderful site. Most of our vendors are also searchable with the part number.

I'm not sure if realoem is directly linkable, but I found the coolant hose diagrams here:http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=17_0237
If not, put in the last 7 of your VIN and navigate to "radiator" and then "cooling system coolant hoses". I believe you're looking for hose 3 (17127518501) & 6 (17127518502).
There are many common parts guys for our cars and for the most part they're all fantastic, although you will develop your own personal favorites. ECS tuning and pelicanparts.com are my 2 favorite OEM parts guys. There are several others that have similar but also other offerings. Poke around and ask a few questions and most people will be very happy to help.

realoem.com and then dump that part numbers 11 digits into our site or select your car and use the drop down.

Yep #3 and #6 are the pair.

Found the hoses at my local Mini dealership and, surprisingly, they were cheaper than ordering online!! I was shocked. One more leak fixed and a few more to go!
