Hamman style rear diffuser

I am having a hard time finding a reasonably priced rear diffuser or something to help get the rear looking better than stock so thinking about fiberglassing my own. Does anyone have a few pics to share of the hamman style and possibly some measurements on it? I feel like 200 bucks on a thin piece of fiberglass is robbery so about to get creative

I would think if you want to save the money and make one of your own ... you would custom built it to measurements and style of your own making.

I would start with a cardboard mock-up then figure out how to turn my mock-up into a template and/or jig then start with a prototype, to test after the resin has set to check for warping and shrinkage. Make the appropriate modifications to your jig and produce your base version. (By this time you know how much material you require and the steps to build your diffuser).

So if we look at the amount of time and cost of resources this far, you may look at the $200.00 and realize it is a real bargain.

And if the time and material cost hasn't slowed you down, good on you. I have scratch built many parts for both cars and bikes, but only after I do a cost analysis to see if it is worth it.

Motor On!

I have an abundance of fiberglass and resin so it might not be too bad cost wise, was just wanting to study a known working design first.

Reviving from the dead. Did you ever make a rear diffuser?
