If i get the TVS , i will run it on its smallest possible pulley
If you’re planning to run smaller pulleys on a TVS without slipping, you will need RMW’s TVS belt tensioner. Without it you will likely experience slippage even with the standard 60mm pulley at high rpm, because the mounts on the TVS case provide less belt “wrap” then the stock M45 when used with the stock Mini tensioner (as Harrop does). The smaller pulleys are available in 53, 55, and 58mm for the TVS from various sources. The RMW tensioner mount is available in a 6-rib version and also an 8-rib version (which does require a matching ATI 8-rib crank pulley).
This is the 6-rib version I am using: https://store-revolutionmini-com.3dc...ner_p_140.html
While the TVS kit for my Mini has been reliable for 10-20,000 miles, I did have the Harrop kit’s Davies-Craig electric water pump die an early death.

there is an aftermarket option for the boost tube and I can't say for certain but i have heard it isn't as easy to break as the stock one is ( though I never personally broken a boost tube unless I didn't care and was just yanking stuff out )..and I don't have personal 1st hand experience yet with that aftermarket boost tube.

if I do get the kit I ABSOLUTELY will be switching to the 8rib setup and the tvs kit I'm trying to get does have the rmw tensioner.
I got my tvs900 now. So soon I will have my sprintex off and I will take pics of my ported stock m45 , sprintex and tvs900 and also tell you my 1st hand experience on how each supercharger performed on my car without changing ANY other variables other than having it safely tuned for the sc it has on.. tuning is done via adriancl by live data , on road tuning..
can anybody please confirm exact length belt i need for my tvs900 WITH the rmw billiet tensioner AND and 2% crank pulley.. unfortunately the one i was provided seems too long and I have a few tvs owners saying too it's too long. I have a 6pk1374 but I believe I need a 6pk1364.
Yes my man 1364 I am not lying to you dude. I again posted a excel spreadsheet file which lets you pick and choose your diameters and spits on the part number you need. Will post here again. But I am confused why my word isnt golden as its just a belt mate and um yeah I went to garage and pulled a brand new one off the parts shelf and verified.
Oh and its going to be same for 53 55 and 60 as there is only a variance of 3mm or less and no in-between 6pk and all are snug and nice and tight. I have every single pulley offered from RMW and Griptech/Harrop on my shelf if you need more info. I am not Bs'ing you at all.

On my car, the 6PK1370 (Goodyear) or K060539 (Gates/Napa) is the correct belt for the combination of a +2% ATI crank & 60mm TVS pulleys with the RMW tensioner, at 1371mm length.
TheDevilZ seems to be working with a 6mm shorter belt, which may be because he’s running a smaller supercharger pulley?
Jan always sent the 539 but it stretches to fast for my liking so I used the 1364. Your running the larger belt larger pulley I am at the other end with one step shorter Adam is in between and suggest the 1364 with the 55mm. Idc what anyone uses just saying I still use the 1364 with the 4% ati shell and 53mm or 55. Again if anyone would use the excel file above this would be moot
Where on the timing cover your idler is plays a factor as well as it could bolt into two locations right next to each other and pending on how it was done or what manual someone looked at it has it in either location over the years.
I know Mike B. always ran the 1364 as well. I think Paul C. did as well.
Bottom line Adam your likely going to need to get a few in this range of 1-6mm and see what works best for your setup. Again I implore people to use the excel file above. But This is where the group of tvs people that dont really all come to places like NAM come in handy. Its a Niche part of the r53 world.

The belt guy gave me with the kit is a 1364 so I will reuse it..
I'd love that 4% but I'd have to have an actuati crank and unfortunately i only have an alta 2% and lol I don't wanna take it off.. I feel like in combo with my lightweight flywheel it really helps the car Rev up easier.
begun cleaning gasket surfaces ect now.
Can anyone please tell me the amount to oil fill the tvs900 ? I'd like to change the oil on it and run whst I do in all my sc's ( kennebell synthetic)..
I only say contact them as I have never changed mine nor have literature with that info on it. They told me sealed for life but obv at some point I will change it as well.
