I like Superpro. I think Powerflex is a bit of ripoff. $90 for a set of bushings. Superpro is an underdog, so they try harder. We are number two so "We try harder".

Man wish my place could accomodate in ceiling speakers. Had to settle for these atmos upfiring jobs. The new tech processing is incredible.

To give an apple to apple comparison, these are the bushings for the front sway bar (both are not on sale prices):

Powerflex - $53.99

Superflex - $22.41

I fail to see the difference. A lot of Mini specialty shops have been offering their own house brand bushings like these (and for more money because premium price conveys superior product ) so it is no rocket science.

still more gift for mini

Love has no bound. One more gift for Mini.

I cannot find a place to mount it, so it will have to just sit in the parcel shelf until I figure out a satisfactory home for it.

Our Mini is so lovable for every cubic mm is already used for something.

Yes, those things went NLA and I remember when those were new back in the day and a Rare option on the MC40's and GP's.

Ah yes definitely needed for the bytetronik datalogging coming your way. You can always make your own holder of sorts. This is what I did with mine when I had just the 2 gauges.

Why is your cockpit looks the mirror image of mine? Must be a Brit.

I semi-homemade mine and both pods already have occupants:

I like cookwares of all sorts, especially those evoke local experience. I am not into fancy small appliances except few tried and true.
Have you tried rainbow flip flops? super durable and expensive but well worth it.

I just checked it out. Alas it is not my kind of flip flop. I like very lightweight ones. Walmart used to be my supplier and I would buy like 5 pairs at a time. They cost between $.99 to $2.99. Those are the best if I was lucky for that year's supply. Majority of the time the foam density is too low, and the flip flop does not last. There are a lot to look for in lightweight flip flops. Pressure points, sole foam material density, sole surface traction, traction on dry and wet surface (very important safety consideration), hidden sharpness of the strap. I can write a book on flip flops. Unfortunately the Walmart buyers has no clue, and same goes with other retailer that happens to carry them.

One very important attribute of flip flop is the ease I can slip them on in total darkness. I dislike the upscale flip flops. They are too heavy. With heaviness, the strap have to be widen to reduce pressure points (yes - PSI).

lol - you can definitely write a book on flip flops.
i don't recall the ones i purchased >10 yrs ago but it's fairly lightweight and very durable (still in use). my preference is for the flip flop to be slightly stiff and ones that last! the last thing i want is for the strap to rip off which has happened on numerous occasions with the cheap flip flops.

For me I wear flip flops for their feather lightness. This pair that I bought in Bangkok is the most I paid, and it turned out to be a dud. It has the densest foam and I thought, good, it will last. Little did I know the dense foam is the Achille's heel because of the weight. It is the worst flip flops that I have ever wear. The reason is all that mass that you feet have to flip and flop. The best analogy is a Mini with 17" S-Heavy with runflat. Too much unsprung mass is never good except for looks.

these flip flops are like 17" S-Heavy with runflat tire

more cookwares

This is another haul from another trip to Thailand.

I also bought cookware from Tokyo as well as Hong Kong (Shanghai Street), Vancouver, Toronto, San Francisco Japantowns (there are two), and China. Love the cookware street in Tokyo - Kappabashi near Asakusa. Still have to make it to the one in Paris.

MINI even has flipflops, two version. I was going to get a pair. The one pair is the softer type while the others are usual design.

Keep me guessing. There are not that many RHD countries. UK, or older former colonies of "the kingdom where the sun never sets". Need some contextual hints. Even Australia is LHD.

I just realize LHD and LHD terms are so problematic. LHD has steering wheel on the right side of car and you go figure.

I would guess you are in HK, Macau, or one of SE Asia ex-colony. If there is a photo of your Mini with street, or shop signs I bet I can figure out.

Nope keep it guessing, here comes a big clue.. Pic of the car at the shop having some exhaust work done. Should be easy from here.. And yes RHD is the "right" way haha

Pretoria, SA. I would not have guessed that. You cheated. It is at same latitude as Australia.

Lol I wouldn't say cheated.. Australia people think of Sydney which is S33deg.. I'm in Johannesburg which is S26deg, so technically didn't cheat if one was thinking Sydney hehehe.. But good find on the clues
