AAA Auto Care couldn't complete my alignment...

Had some uneven tire wear so I took my '06 S hatchback to the nearest AAA for a 4-wheel alignment. They contacted me saying that the toe could not be set and the right rear camber was maxed out, they recommend I have the dealer replace the control arm. Their estimate for P/L was $842. my brother-in-law and I just got done doing an entire front end rebuild, how difficult would it be for us to replace the rear control arm? Also any recommendations on upgrades are welcome.

I also was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on how to get my steering wheel controls working? I have read that the steering wheel controls (for your phone) were not compatible with American models.

Thanks in advance.

Its not hard at all, but did they know to loosen the arm mount to adjust toe?

Steering wheel controls takes a $800 module to get it working! Its a lot cheaper to get an aftermarket radio and dice or similar module to get then steering controls working.

I've got this bluetooth adapter in mine and the steering wheel controls works with my phone.

Did you get the trunk or behind radio hook up? How was the install? Looks like the cheapest option so far.

Also did you have to install the new mic or did the kit work with the stock microphone?

How did you get from alignment issues to bluetooth adapters?

I had two questions. The only one people can answer is the Bluetooth one I guess...

By all means, answer away
