AAA Auto Care couldn't complete my alignment...
Had some uneven tire wear so I took my '06 S hatchback to the nearest AAA for a 4-wheel alignment. They contacted me saying that the toe could not be set and the right rear camber was maxed out, they recommend I have the dealer replace the control arm. Their estimate for P/L was $842. my brother-in-law and I just got done doing an entire front end rebuild, how difficult would it be for us to replace the rear control arm? Also any recommendations on upgrades are welcome.
I also was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on how to get my steering wheel controls working? I have read that the steering wheel controls (for your phone) were not compatible with American models. Thanks in advance. |
Its not hard at all, but did they know to loosen the arm mount to adjust toe?
Steering wheel controls takes a $800 module to get it working! Its a lot cheaper to get an aftermarket radio and dice or similar module to get then steering controls working. |

I've got this bluetooth adapter in mine and the steering wheel controls works with my phone. |

How did you get from alignment issues to bluetooth adapters?
