Well, did any of you folks whose VIN disappeared from WW's site find it again? This morning I checked the booking number that was originally assigned to my MCS, and it listed the VIN's of 36 MINI's on the Freedom, but not mine. WW continues to say that they have no record of my VIN. Does anybody have the MINI booking number for the Patriot or the Tagus? I'd sure like to see if my VIN is listed on one of those, although I would think it would show up on the auto search in WW's cargo tracking. Bummer!

i've been unable to get the ww tracking website to pull up since saturday, so now i'm really in limbo

 

its working now but you have to go through the main site, if you were linking to the tracking page it doesnt work like that anymore.

The tracking site was up for a little while this morning, but the whole site is down now. Is everyone getting the "can't find server" page? Just checking that it's not my machine.

I sure wish I knew where my car was. It's lost, and I don't like it!

 

I just tried it again, and other than not finding my VIN, it works OK.

I have checked as well and it appears that it is not picking up the VIN numbers as well. I am using http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTracking/cargoTrack.do

 

My car is just M.I.A. I hope it shows up in the next couple of days, or it might miss this boat, too. 1-800-ASK-MINI, just says that it is waiting for transport, and no information is available yet. I hope they are a few days slow and it's on the Targus. I think that is just wishful thinking at this point.

 

thank for the #, mine isnt listed on that one either, what I am hopeing is that is is already on the Patriot on the way to SC. I am hoping it just doesnt show for some odd reason.

I don't know what it means, but it can't be good!

 

Its freaking me out a little but honestly I am sure its not missing just waiting. Anything automotive related has so much "stuff" it has to go through before anything happens.

I noticed the freedom wasnt listed on the SC site also and that did bother me a little, then mine was moved to the patriot which does show coming into the SC port. I can only hope it got on the patriot or at least shows up in the system soon so I can atr least SEE where it is and more/less track its progress.

I would really like to see a booking # for the patriot.

 

Well, it's two weeks and waiting since my Mini arrived in Southampton, and still no info anywhere from anyone about why it hasn't shipped out, or when it will. I am curious to know from other expectant MINI parents how long before the shipping date the VIN has historically shown up the the WW site. I am just hoping that the weekend site maintenance on the WW site has delayed the VIN updates...

Does anyone have a car booked for the Titus (supposed to sail today, but now rescheduled for tomorrow (10/19)??

I found this through a different thread, and it came from goldcountymini.com. It appears that Mini is using this carrier to ship to the west coast. I'm curious if anybody in the west tried this phone number yet?

 

Update on West Coast shipping:

I emailed WW yesterday inquiring about the status of my California-bound Mini, and they replied this morning with the following information:

Although Port Hueneme-bound Mini's are still traveling on WW vessels, those ships are being "operated" by the NYK Line. This provides one possible explanation for why my VIN does not show up on the WW site (the other option is that the car is still sitting on the dock).

WW suggested that as soon as I can get a Bill of Lading or a Booking number, then perhaps it will be possible to track the shipping process of my Mini on their site.

 

Anyone found thier "missing" mini yet ? If I could just see where it is I would feel much better, also lets me know how soon I have to pull the cash together and pay for it

Mine is still missing, too. However, this morning at 1-866-ASK-MINI it said it was "in transit" and to contact my dealer to see which ship it's on. My VIN is still not listed on the WW site, so I am assuming (hoping) that it went on a different line. I will let you know when I hear from my MA.

Well, after two weeks of moaning and groaning as my Mini sat in Southampton gathering dust (I thought!) and no one anywhere could tell me anything about when it would ship out, I received the most glorious phone call this morning from my MA telling me that, in fact, it sailed for California ten days ago!! Now, I have been completely unable to confirm this since ASKMini, the OL, and the WW site still have no information whatsoever about my shipping status (in fact, they all suggest it's still sitting at port), but I am cautiously optimistic!!

I am hoping to get the ship name and/or the Bill of Lading number tomorrow, so I can try using that info with the NYK Line (or the K Line) to follow up.

But -- if what my MA tells me is true -- then there is hope for all of us whose Mini's seem to have disappeared from Planet Earth soon after arriving at port!

My Mini is on the EMDEN!! My ma and others have posted it should be in SC on the 28th but the SC port site says it will be there 11-1 ?

 

Mine is on it, too! The K-Line said it was due in at Charleston on the 28th, but the Port of Charleston schedule and my MA, both said 11/1. Eric (my MA) then told me it will probably be 7-10 days to get it to the dealership (Baton Rouge). I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will come in on the 28th. That gets me motoring a couple of days sooner!

This last few weeks have been horrible...can't wait much longer!

 

I guess all we can do is wait, at least our previously missing Mini's have been located !

I am looking at the 2nd or 3rd week in Nov before I get to see mine.
