Hi Deltman,

My Mini is coming to a Southern California dealer, too, but I am having quite a time trying to get them to tell me the name of the ship, the booking number, or the bill of lading number. All I know is that it left Southampton eleven days ago. Thus, I am hoping that my car might be with yours (or, possibly, on the Hyundai No. 206 which sailed on 10/10), but no one at my dealership will confirm it for me.

Part of the problem is that the head sales guy is on vacation this week, but everyone else there says that their computers just don't have that info...

So -- how did you get your info, from whom, and when?? l

I got the info from my motoring advisor, but even though my mini is coming to ca its coming by way of ohio. So our cars are probably on different ships since yours is coming to a west coast port and mine is coming through the east coast.

I am sure any of the staff at your mini dealer should be able to get teh booking # for your car and them you can call the shipping line, their # is listed by somone in another post in this thread.

Hard to believe but my tracking info says that I was recived and scanned on 10-19 in S.Carolina. I believe the ship said freedom. For those more experienced, when should I expect it in orlando??

my dealer said it would take roughly 2 weeks ( maybe less ) between the time the ship docks and the time they have the mini ready at the dealer. From that point I still have to wait for a truck to bring it to me from the dealer.

deliver

I was tracking thru miniusa also. however, although it doesn't tell you much, for me it appears to be taking the 6 weeks that i was told by my salesman. talk to yours. they get up to date print outs. i believe that mines may be about a week earlier than i expected. also, it moves very quickly once it gets into production.

I've been trying to stay low-key about this, but I sure wish MINI could keep their owners lounge web info a little more current. It still just shows "scheduled for production", and doesn't show any of the order details (factory options) other than the color - CR/W.

She's on her way!!

It's confirmed, my MINI is on the Hyundai No. 206, due into port in Southern California on November 2.

But I can't pick her up until Monday the 8th!! Those are going to be the longest 6 days of my life...

Luckily, though, I can console myself by purchasing (many) Mini-related clothing items and keychains. It is so embarrassing -- I have never been so gaga about a car before (although, of course, none of my other cars have been so delightfully perfect...)
