R50/53 Befuddled DMV

Befuddled DMV
I went to the local DMV this morning to register my MC/S which I had purchased in New York. The people there had no idea what a "Mini" was. They made me go outside in the parking lot and show it to them, so they could be certain that the car was real!
When I explained to them that there were two dealers in Virginia for that make, they finally found it on the computer. Guess I am the first registered in this town.
Did get my vanity plate, though - SMALL EH?
No question mark on the plate -will add that to the bracket.

That's actually kinda odd that they couldn't figure the car out, there's no shortage of them in the state...
