I prefer the 2 spoke but, since I already have my Mini, guess my vote doesn't matter:smile: again....

i'm like the pane 3 guy in an old far side cartoon:

pane 1: a person sitting in front of a partially filled glass says "good! it's half full!"

pane 2: a scowling person complains "it's half empty"

pane 3: an arm waving guy hollers "what the h*ll is this?! i ordered a cheeseburger!"

i have the 2 spoker. i like the looks but hate the placement of the spokes. they are both too thick and at the location where i want my hands.

the 3 spoker looks goofy to me, but the hand locations seem a bit lower, so they're closer to what i want,

i'd really like a totally different design that leaves the rim open from 1 to 5 o'clock and from 7 to 11. i want the slots narrow enough to reach the horn and other buttons on the center hub with thumbs, without having to release my grip. cheeseburger!

I have the old 2 spoke, pre perforation, and is disintegrating after only 16,000 miles. Does that mean when I take it to the dealership to get it replaced I'll get the 3 spoke? And also I thought the 3 spoke used to be perforated? Am I wrong?

The TWO spoke switched to perforated leather during the 03 model year (Dec I think). That was the best wheel, IMO. I have an early 03 so I have the original 2 spoke non-pref but have 55k miles and no wear. I recently added a MINIswag perforated leather wheel cover. WELL WORTH IT! I love it.
