Run the VIN in the link below. You are looking for option 2TA. If you have it, you have one of the very few.

Talk to somebody that has LSD and torque steer. Does not matter what Gen Mini. I believe it comes down to basic physics and how a gyroscope works. If you are in a turn and only the weighted wheel pulls then the car wants to follow that wheel in a straight line. With LSD the force is distributed a little more evenly across the front.

Do both tires spin if you do a burn out lol. No but seriously if you goose it off the line and only one spins you don't have a limited slip or its worn out
The 06 R53 JCWs and the 06-08 R52 JCWs had the LSD as part of the JCW Package. I was reading an article on late 80 Porsches and the writer lamented that LSD was an option that most did not have.

Yes an lsd can minimize torque steer but does not eliminate it.
It may be reduced enough that some people might not notice it but it is not a good indication of whether or not you have one.

[QUOTE=X757XVeritas;4273214]Not sure if you are agreeing or disagreeing, but it's still all down to physics, the fact that we have unequal length axels contributes to torque steer even with an lsd.

My JCW has the LSD and my R53 did not. It is a Night and Day difference. You can check some of other JCW Gen forums and you will see the similar discussions. If you have LSD you know what I am talking about.
