Mini Emblems

My front and rear Mini logo's have faded away. How do you replace them? I can't see how to get the one on the boot (trunk) off without disassembling the inside of the boot - and even then, I can't see how to take it off. Maybe I need glasses.

I believe they are only stuck on with adhesive. I bought some on line but when my car went in for something else, my MINI dealer put them on for me.

Fishing line and adhesive remover after you get them off with the fishing line. A heat gun helps aid in removing the left over adhesive off as well.

Just take your line, wrap it around a finger on each hand, and saw back and fourth. There will be a couple pins in the middle, just cut down to those and then move around them in a circle until it lets go.

Anybody know if you can get just the sticker that goes on the emblem? or if anybody makes painted emblems that won't get blown off by high pressure washer?

The replacement emblems come with the stickers, other than that I've found stickers. Go to stuckonminis.com and tell her what you want and what color, she'll hook you up.

I scrolled through stuckonminis.com but could not find what the OP (and me) is looking for.

The OP was trying to take off his emblems. I assume he wasn't having THAT much trouble taking a sticker off. She don't have them listed, you contact them and tell them what you want. I've searched the web for just that center sticker and have yet to find a solution aside from just replacing the emblem as a whole.

Sorry I spaced this, but my pics reminded me that THESE guys have what you're looking for if it's either the center stickers or the emblem as a whole:http://www.stickyfingersdecals.com/

Takes a bit for them to come in since they're overseas but they do good work that they stand behind.
