K and P Engineering reusable oil filter

I saw an ad in MC2 magazine about this oil filter and was wondering if any of you guys are running it. I know many motorcycle guys that use reusable filters and love them.

I may be mistaken, but the K&N filters are oiled as well and I know a lot of people run them in the DDMWorks intake or standalone.

The politics and $$ reality of running a magazine means some products are placed for a $.... sometimes for a free item to the publisher too...mc2 is no different, and many folks have been burned by Barry...
Reusable filters for oil were once semi common....but reality is, a cheap disposable filter does more, and removes all contaminates when changed....try to clean a reusable filter, you might get some...even most.
I'd avoid it. It a typical solution in the search of a problem.

Thanks for the feedback. I just posted to see if anyone was running one in their MINI. Just ordered 6 OE filters from Atlantic. The K and P reusable is sort of hard to find anyway

Yeah...I was using Atlantic for my filters...their 6 pack pricing is hard to beat....
I usually bought MANN filters... a bit less than OEM, but still one of two OEM suppliers for the gen1.... Only difference i noticed was the o-ring for the filter cap was slightly fatter, so extra lube and care was needed to not split it.
