Hi guys.

Who went to the Vintage Car Festival at Lime Rock this weekend? We got some tickets from our MINI dealership and headed up there yesterday. There were literally hundreds of MINIs there! Saw a few people from our dealership (Fairfield County), and met some from other areas as well.

There was a MINI hospitality tent which you could only get into with a pass. We got gift bags containing some MINI Convertible head visors, MINI catalogs, and some other promo type stuff. They had a great buffet lunch and and you were able to view the race track from the tent.

One thing I missed was the MINI parade where they had many of the people who had MINI's take a few laps around the track before the actual racing started.

I tooks some pics and will post some here later today or tomorrow. Did anyone else on here attend this event?

I was there on Saturday and Monday. I was fortunate to score a touring lap pass from the hospitality tent on Saturday and was able to participate in the touring laps. Not as much fun as driving Lime Rock at speed! Which I've done a couple of times at track days. Check www.scda1.com A bunch of us will be there on November 5.

The buffet was quite decent and it was great to see so many of my NY/NE MINI pals. We eventually settled down on the hill watching the race through big bend and the esses.
