For example, right now my Mini is "Status 193" which is sitting on a dock waiting for a boat. (Always a bridesmaid...)



Second question, my car has been there since Tuesday, is there a typical or even a SWAG as to when you fine ladies and gents got your cars from dock to boat?

You can go to the owner's section of miniusa.com and check the status of your MINI online. YOu need the vin# or another tracking number that your salesperson can give you to create an account.

I don't worry about Status Codes, I'm too caught up with monitoring the status of my Cooper on the docks also. Check out this link and enter the last 7 letters/numbers of your VIN as the Cargo ID. Then kind of follow your nose by checking out the Booking # the Ship and anything else that "lights up" when you run your mouse over it. Happy Tracking!

Thanks for the offer; however, I'm not near. and will be picking up my Cooper in Murray, Ut (Salt Lake City). I guess I could just drive East for the break-in milage. Your sig says Madison, WI maybe I should be headed for Madison rather than Chicago? What ship are you on Jim? I'm waiting for ther Otello. ED

 

I don't really understand the shipping schedule, or the OL updating schedule. My car was built the week of 11/8 and was loaded on the ship 11/10. It scheduled to arrive in NY next wednesday!

I really don't understand why edlfry's MINI isn't on the AIDA along with mine. Also, I don't understand why the OL still says the my MINI is "awaiting transport".

And jayoung, I am in Chicago (downtown as a matter-of-fact) and I would be happy to buy the second round

I'm not on the AIDA because the Otello delivers to the West Coast. I would like to know why they pulled me from the Century Highway No 3 that is now underway to California. The AIDA is doing the "short "trip to the East Coast. The OL is "slow" in it's updates, usually a few days behind what has already happened. You will get a call from your dealer before rthe OL reports that your car is at the dealer. You will be Motoring while my Cooper is cruising through the Panama Canal.
