Anyone change their shifter cables for new ones and notice a reduction in slop? I really dont feel like spending that much money on cables if the diffrence is small. Got an 02 with 180k miles so they are old.
The cables for the pre facelift are no longer available, or at least on permanent backorder. You'd have to change the shift box to a facelift version also. I've heard it has better bushings so you will feel a difference.
I'm redoing mine either when the cables break or I get new exhaust since it all has to come out anyway.
well whole front end is coming out. so i figured i would do it then.. i dunno if i want to go to the face lift setup. id have to get new **** and short shifter.
