HELP!! - Trying to Order European Accessory

There is a protective rear seat cover for the Mini available form BMW, but not in the US. Has anyone ordered accessories from europe successfully? I am not getting replies from the UK dealers that I emailed. Is there a better place to buy the bmw/mini part? The part number that I am interested in is 50 30 0 140 125. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Moss Mini sells cloth rear car seat covers in the US... check out their website...

http://www.mossmini.com

We have bought CD's and books from the UK before, and it can take a while to get your product, plus some vendors want to be paid in the coin of the realm...the currency conversions can be expensive!

Thanks for the advice, but this is actually more than a rear seat cover. It is for having a dog in the back seat. It is custom fit to the mini, made of water resistant leatherette, covers the rear and front headrests and forms a protective hammock in the back. Here is the picture from mini.uk:

Okay, I think I want one as well....

But can anyone tell me how the dog(s) gets into the back seat if the cover attaches to both the fron seat head rests? How large of a canine can fit comfortably?

That's part of why I want one: It has a zipper on the side to open and it also has pockets on the back side for a leash or whatever. It also fits around the seat belt and has an opening in the base for buckling the seatbelt if you need to hook up a harness. If not the hole can be Velcroed shut. It's pricey though (about $200 converted from British pounds). I'm going for it though if I can get one imported.

Id post a request on the Mini2.com site. There are lots of UK people who post there all the time, and some dog lover may agree to pick one up at their dealer and mail it to you. Just be sure to call the trunk the boot, the hood the bonnet, and the seat bottom the squab.

Thanks JoeDentist. I actually put a post there at the same time as this, but that one has no replies yet. I'll keep looking.
