Hi everyone, Im new here, last Friday I picked up a 2005 1st gen cooper s. Within the first 4 days of owning it i got into a slight accident. anyways, i am looking for a hood, front bumper, and grill. It is Chili Red. Can anyone provide some help? I was thinking a carbon creations carbon fibre hood but shipping is insane from california to maryland. any and all help will be great!

 

Go check the market place for replacement parts

 

You can use realoem to find part numbers for anything you need replaced. You can use those part numbers to search for parts at ECS, PelicanParts, WMW, eBay, or maybe even the NAM classifieds. My guess is you will only be able to buy the painted parts primed, not with Chili Red already applied. You'll need to have a body shop paint them for you. The paint code is 851.

 

You could source used parts as well as an alternative at www.car-part.com. Or as Badge said, post a WTB in the marketplace to see if anyone has an CF parts for sale used. I found mine on a forum and another member found a hood recently on craigs list. Those will be the cheapest alternatives. If you want new, you can buy some below:

Ouch. There's a carbon fiber hood in the market place for 300. Not sure if it's still there but I did see one. U should hit up some mini cooper dismantle place.
