R50/53 MINI R53 turned 150K today
MINI R53 turned 150K today
My 05 turned 150K today !! (Actually, just now, as I'm in a parking lot posting.)
I need to find the time to post (in more detail) when I purchased, (Nov '12 w/100K), and what's been done to it, modification and routine wise.
I have to say, that, aside from some small issues (P2096 after exhaust), my (unnamed) MINI has been a tank !!
Repair wise, I've had to replace a rear right caliper (all brakes done with pads, rotors, SS lines and brakes bled), wheel bearing/hub (one making sound, but replaced all), PS fan and a steering column or knuckle that was binding.
Also replaced a few plastic pieces here and there; brake handle, overhead light, door arm rest.
Supercharger is pulling strong, without any sound or heating issues, and all suspension parts look/feel good. Not wearing any tires abnormally, and I have all the parts ready to go.

Congrats! My just turn 177k! Getting close to 180K! last week just replaced the thermalstat. Next week will be instaling 15% Alta pulley. Still very strong and proud of this little guy. As long as I keep up with maintence this little guy will go on forever!
