R50/53 How long did your 2005 Mini take for delivery?

How long did your 2005 Mini take for delivery?
My MC is supposed to go into production this week. It is to be delivered to Classic Mini in mid September ( I think ). How long has it taken from production to taking delivery for you?

Mini Delivery
We ordered our MCS in May and it was born on 7/01/05. We tracked it all the way here on the web. There was a delay at the port in New York for a couple of days, I believe it was due to a lack of 2005 epa stickers or some other paperwork. To make a long story short we took possesion of MINI on 7/31/2005 at Classic Mini. So it was about a month for delivery from date of completion, yours maybe quicker due to not having to wait at the port of entry. I'm sure you will think it was worth it when you take delivery, we were. :smile:

We ordered an '05 MCS in April '04, with a dealer-predicted 9 to 11 month waiting period. How does one track the production/manufacturing of the vehicle?
Also, what's been BMW's track record been w/ honoring the MSRP from the quoted price to the final tab?
