Jeez. I hope someone treats these guys the same. I think I'll forward this link to MINIUSA, just to be sure they are aware of the story. It seems to me they'd be very interested in nipping this at the bud. What a scandal..."Brits Still Giving the Yanks What For" breaking just in time for our upcoming Independence Day celebration.

keep in mind that this may very possibly be a total lie posted by one of those MINI haters, you know, the ones that own 3-series, New Beetles, Golfs or Classic Mini's and for some reason feel threatened. (I know, I know, plenty of people who own those cars love the new MINI as well)

this link has been forwarded to MINI USA by a number of people and I suppose we shall see what comes of it. Don't be suprised if it's false.

Acetonic, I hope you are right. If MINI does check this story, the first thing they'll likely question is whether there is adequate supervision when the cars are being moved. If they then find that there is, then the story is likely a fabrication. But if the cars are in fact being loaded without supervision then forwarding this story on to MINI will likely benefit more than one eager owner-to-be.

I sure hope my baby (due in early August) gets treated like a baby.

I also hope it's fabricated. The link in question has been forwarded to MINIusa and BMW by many many people. If it's true, I'm sure it will be fixed quietly and we may never know the outcome.
