One ball, Lefty instead of righty?

Ive searched some and I havent found any results, but Im wondering if anyone cut off the muffler instead of the resonator for their oneball? It would be a much easier job to do IMO, curious how it would sound.

The difference in sound is really minor. You'll more than likely end up with an aftermarket unit. I went with Ireland engineering that was extremely easy to install on my garage flow by myself. It cost about half as much as the more popular ones and sounds great. $360
