This was a fairly easy install but only one problem under boost the gauge needle will shake really bad. Does this mean I have a boost leak in my gauge line?
Had to take the intercooler off to tap into a port on the intake manifold.
Alta performance sells a gauge holder that screws behind the cluster

It's hard for me to see from the picture exactly where you tapped in, but if you tapped into one of the intake manifold runners (that feed a cylinder from the manifold plenum), you will see very large pressure waves in that area that would cause needle flutter. I believe it's recommended to use a Y or T from the fuel pressure regulator. If I were to tap into the manifold, I'd probably do it at the end tank of the inter cooler (outlet side of I/C). I'm sure whatever has been the standard practice works.
are you at full throttle? or partial throttle, I get a bit of bounce under partial, that's due to the bypass valve. if your T'd into the fuel pressure reg. (its about the same location you have shown)
if you actually drilled a hole and tapped into the intake manifold, you should definently see hard vac/pressure bounce, especially infront of one of the cylinder plenums. the valves opening and closing will create variations in the pressure.
