I posted this a few days ago in my build thread, but that's in the 1st gear forums so I didn't receive responses. I have an '03 R53 and I'm just curious as to how a "normal" R53 engine bay sounds, as I've never heard another one. Here's the original post:

I recorded my engine bay a few weeks ago as I had been noticing a ticking-type sound from the engine. Usually I'd guess that had to do with excessive valve lash or worn cam lobes, but I'm not sure if it's a normal sound in R53's or not so I'd like you guys to have a listen.

The first clip is from directly above the engine and the second is from directly above the S/C pulley.
