He drives an old s10 chevy pick-up.You've got to see this thing. It does however get him to work everyday.I guess that's what matters a?For me,trading in the 97 Tahoe will be quite a bit of a shock, since my last four vehicles have been trucks. It's time for a change and a little spice up.So the mcs should do just fine. Can't wait.Jaydawg.

When a friend of mine saw my Mini, she said her daughter had one.
I said, O really.
She says, yes it is the PT model.
I said, That's nice.

>>Whell I just look at thier accord with this dumb look on my face thinking "Is that all?" and as my mind fills with expletives they drive off at thier lane is clear.
>>

And remember, you can always tell them that the reason it "only" goes 135 is because it's governed.

>>I think its the winged emblem. Looks (to them) like a "mini" version of the one on the Sebring. Anyway, I've heard it more then once.

A friend of mine said I should replace the "MINI" on the emblem with "Steak and Shake"!

oops.. touch the budda. "Calm Calm Calm"
>>
I nearly threw the budda at them...

shows why buddha was only a man...as are we...touching a piece of plastic doesn't make for inner peace.
I get cracked on at work by an older gentleman who expected my mid-life crisis to garner me a big SUV or extreeeeemely expensive two seater...I told him my wife's line...You can't have a mid life crisis until you actually grow up!

No - it's b/c of that dealer on YAHOO that listed the MINI as a Chrysler MINI! And then he had the nerve to snap at those of us that corrected him - but he caused all this Chrysler stuff...

I've got to tell ya, I've never had ANYONE say anything at all that wasn't complimentary. Some of the comments that people have said in this thread are pretty rude. Why would people insult your MINI? Maybe it's b/c you don't have aDark Silver/White MINI???

The only slightly rude comment I've ever gotten was the other night...
Some guy climbing out of his Expedition looked at me next to my Cooper S,
sneered and said "Don't you have trouble getting in and out of that thing?"

I replied, "I'm 5'7", I'd have more trouble getting in and out of that
behemoth you drive." He didn't have a comeback for that one.

The day I brought my MINI home the kid next door(17 or 18) asked me what it was.
I told him it was a MINI Cooper.
"Oh," he said, " is that like a Yugo?"
"Yep" I said and walked into the house.
