So I took the dumb car in, 06 r53. Was told it was the crank position sensor o-ring. Then I get a call its the oil pan also. I didn't have time or money so I picked up the car. Then took it back and was told it was the oil pan as well as the rear main seal. I'm annoyed, I found a place that'll do it all and a clutch kit but at the moment the car shifts fine. Will the world end of I just keep adding oil as needed? Obviously oil can eventually get into the clutch and it'll need to be replaced anyway but for now, can I drive a few 1000 miles through the winter? Lastly is there a low oil inticator or do I just check it weekly/biweekly? The spot from the drive is attached. Advice?

No low oil indicator only low pressure, I'd keep an eye on the level. Rear main is a bummer not a real common spot from what I've seen, as for the oil pan and crank seal that's almost a given.
I would der if my shop simply doesn't know how to properly diagnose the problem. Hmmmm

Absolutely drive it. It doesn't matter if it's leaking as long as you keep an eye on it.
It would be a bad idea to wait for the oil light to come on though. You don't want to ever drive it without oil. I would check it at least once a week just to be safe. Maybe every 2 weeks if it's going down slowly.
As far as the clutch, you should get some warning first that it's slipping. Mine started slipping on the freeway in sixth gear, just a little, then gradually over a year it got worse. Still very drivable, just didn't like hard acceleration in any gear at the end. Like I said though, took a year to get there.
Fix it when you have the time and money though, because it will get worse over time

My rear main seal was a little wet when I did my clutch. If you watch the mod mini clutch how to video, the car he did had a really bad rear main
