Falling knee bolster

Whenever I go over a bump, my knee bolster falls open. The two metal posts that are supposed to hold in the top simply rest inside some square holes in the plastic. Are there supposed to be some kind of grommets in the square holes that the metal posts slide into?

That's exactly what I need. Mini of Nashville straight up told me that clip doesn't exist. Told me I needed a new dash. Wow.
