Clubsports. I still have the struts with green lowering springs from the original build as spares. Gotta get under here with a bush and scrub in the spring. Apart from the dust, road grime, and rubber from the track use. Its all still very clean under the car. Zero leaks or rust.

Got a clockspring and steering wheel installed.

The strut tower was notched to get the camber needed for the track. This needed to be repaired to pass inspection.

All fixed up. Had trouble with the rear defrost, a/c and sunroof not working. I was given the original ecu, bcm, and ign cylinder. Taking all the JCW stuff out and putting the OE stuff in fixed this issue somehow. I needed the defrost to work for inspection. After this we passed.

Apart from replacing ripped boots with some home made covers. Theres not much else thats changed. The factory speakers were blown so they got upgraded along with some sound deadener in the doors. New passenger door handle. It broke on me. Low speed fan resistor. Baby seat.

Removed most of the stickers the previous owner had on it. This is a daily driver now.

Now that i know the interior was dyed black. It makes alot more sense to me why the parts from the donor car dont quite match. I thought it seemed darker than my previous cooper. Hope this bring some answers on what happened with the car. And if its okay i might continue to update this thread with any major changes in the future. Ill be driving it each day and obsessively maintaining it like i do all my cars.

Just before winter i went in to a store for 5 minutes to grab food and came out to this. No note or nothing. People suck.

Added some carbon fiber stuff. Omicron 2 scoop. Handle covers and boot handle. Also painted the mirrors white to match the roof best i could.

When the queen passed they raised these flags and i had to take a picture

Been taking it to some autocross events. Took some poor quality pictures of that. Its a blast with the sticky tires.

While its in the shop for the side damage. The hood is being resprayed. Excessive rock chips caused the clear to start to peel away and the vinyl stripes were cracking.

Here we go again lol.

I also have some aero side skirts to paint and install..

Yeah you'll need to spray that with black epoxy before you paint the green or it will never match the rest of the paint.
