clicking noise driver side rear tire

Hello everyone this is my first time posting in this forum.
I have a mini cooper s 05 a couple weeks ago I noticed a clicking noise coming from the driver side rear tire I ignored it because I thought it was not important, paying attention to this it doesnt matter if I'm going straight or turning, going slow or high speed the sound only disappers when I brake.
Does anyone here has an idea of what this can be? I'm afraid of my tire coming out when driving.

Could it be the wheel bearing?

Check to make sure its not a nail or screw or road debris. Or its just a rock. try seeing if you can wiggle the car on a straight somewhere like race cars do to warm up tires or get scrabble off; that may help.

I had what could be described as a "clicking" or "ticking" noise on my 06 R53.

It seemed to increase in tempo with speed.

Sound like the left side rear, but it was actually the front.

Turned out to be a worn out suspension as it went away when I put in the Koni FSDs and had the suspension rebuilt.

Yes, definitely start with your wheel bearing. Wheel bearings can cause all sorts of weird things if not replaced such as strange noises with all types of driving and even pad knock back! I dealt with that once. It was quite interesting to say the least, haha! One way to test it is to raise the car up and put pressure on the front and back side wall of the tire, as if you're attempting to wiggle it a bit. If there is play, the bearing definitely is bad. Let us know if it goes away with your replacement.
