Best fluid for transmission

What is the best MTL for the 6-speed? I am considering going to GM Sychromesh Friction Modified MTF as it did a fantastic job smoothing the shifts in an older higher-mileage EF Civic I had years ago, but I am always looking for suggestions. I have also heard that a heavier weight fluid works well, such as the MT-90 stuff from Redline. I ran the MT-90 in an EP3 Civic I had in 2005, and I never had a shifting issue with that one either, but it was a low mile car as well.

Great, so GM Synchromesh (Equivalent to the Redline MTL and available locally) will work fine. Thanks.

I don't know when the fluid was changed last, but it is due based on the feel of the shifter.

Been using the redline MTL for a long time and it works great.

Red Line MTL 75w80 is what I'm changing my stock fluid with when I'm getting the clutch changed.
