R50/53 Automatic Revese Problem

Automatic Revese Problem
I have an 06 MCS (non-CVT) and have a tough time reversing on an incline. Seems like the trans is slipping and really need to give it the gas to move.
Any ideas what's going on or is this typical???

To start off easy, when was the last time you serviced the transmission?
