Seat comfort comparisons & swapping questions

Okay, I have an '06 with leatherette seats, my girlfriend has an '05 with leather seats. We want to swap the seats between the two, but I have been somewhat hesitant because I honestly feel like the leatherette seats are more comfortable than the leather seats, like you sit more "in" them than "on" them. Has anyone else experienced this?

My other question is regarding seat heaters. My leatherette seats have seat heaters and the leather seats do not. How difficult is it to swap the heaters over to the leather seats? Thanks!

To swap the heaters you have to remove the seat covers, possibly cut some holes into the cushions for wiring. The heater itself is a thin sheet. You can get aftermarket heaters, too, so you only have to remove the covers from the leather seats.

A lot of work to swap seats that are actually not very comfortable either. I will soon pull my leatherette seats out and get some proper aftermarket Sparco Evo II installed.

Look under the seats...
Most leather seats had plugs for heaters....
So you likely have them...just not used.

And one version of the seats are likely the standard seats, the other the "sport" ....sport tend to be much more firm...
