I recently retrofitted the rear fog light and full switch panel in my '05 MINI. Is there software available that's somewhat reasonably priced that can do the retrofit coding required to get the light functioning? I realize I could go to the dealer, but would rather own something that I might use other times as well. I looked into BMWhat software that works on smartphones and tablets which I thought was pretty cool, but they said coding is only available on R56's and newer. So just curious if anyone had any other options or ideas. Thanks

 

I would think its an actual wiring job, not just coding. but NCS Expert would be the software, and its free

 

Thanks I'll check it out. I did install the wiring as well so everything should be ready to go. But it is only a wiring job for a few months in late 2004, which my car unfortunately was produced during that time. All the other years the wiring is already there.
